Thiavite B-Complex

Rated 4.72 out of 5 based on 1 customer rating
67 reviews

Thiavite B-Complex contains a full spectrum of B vitamins, including the highly bioavailable vitamin B1 derivative thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide (TTFD), along with additional CDP choline and R-lipoic acid. The inclusion of non-methylated forms of folate and vitamin B12 make this supplement suitable for individuals who do not tolerate methylated vitamins.

This complex is designed to complement Thiamax through providing supportive nutritional vitamin cofactors, yet it can also be consumed independently as a standalone multi-vitamin.

How to use

  • Start with one capsule per day with or without food. Gradually increase to 3 capsules per day for the maximum dose.
  • Avoid coffee/tea consumption either one hour before or two hours after.
  • Avoid taking this product in the afternoon/evening, as it may interfere with sleep.

For first time users who consider themselves sensitive to supplements:

  • Start with half or quarter of a capsule per day by emptying half of the capsule contents into a small glass of water.
  • Increase the dose every three or four days until you reach one full capsule per day.
  • Increase the dose to two capsules/day after one week (or longer, depending on tolerance) and later three capsules/day.

Important information:

  • In some individuals, supplementation with products containing thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide (TTFD) can induce a temporary worsening of certain symptoms such as fatigue, brain-fog, and digestive bloating or gas. This usually lasts for around one week, and is referred to as the “paradoxical reaction”.
  • For those with sensitivity to sulfur-containing compounds, this product may not be suitable.

Test results coming soon! They are currently in progress and will be posted as soon as available.

It is recommended to start with one capsule per day. Increase gradually to 3 capsules per day over the space of one to two weeks. If one capsule is best tolerated, then remain at 1 capsule per day.

This complex is best taken in the morning time or early afternoon. If taken in the evening, it may disrupt sleep. This supplement should be taken at least 1 hour before, or two hours after consuming coffee or green/black tea.

This is best taken with food but can also be taken away from food depending on individual preference.

Initially some people can experience a “paradoxical reaction” with thiamine supplementation. This might include a temporary period of increased fatigue, brain-fog, and poor concentration. This reaction usually subsides within a few weeks. If symptoms remain, discontinue this supplement.

Non-Methylated For Sensitive Individuals

Thiavite B-Complex provides a full spectrum of nutritional cofactor B vitamins to complement the action of thiamine (vitamin B1) within the cell, including two different forms of thiamine. Due to the lower amount of TTFD contained within this formula, this complex can be used as a method to gradually build up tolerance before using Thiamax.

Folinic acid (calcium folinate) is a non-methylated form of folate which can convert readily into active forms of folate such as L-methylfolate as needed in the body.
Similarly, hydroxocobalamin (vitamin B12) is also a non-methylated alternative to methyl-B12. After absorption, this form can easily convert into both adenosyl and methylcobalamin based on cellular demand. Together, these forms are suitable for people who have difficulty tolerating methylated vitamins.

CDP choline (citicoline) is nucleotide which provides choline and cytidine after it is broken down in the body. Aside from supporting the production of acetylcholine and phosphatidylcholine, research has demonstrated that this compound may also increase dopamine, noradrenaline and serotonin synthesis. This nootropic has been studied for its ability to improve memory, attention, and cognition. R-lipoic acid is the more bioavailable form of alpha lipoic acid, a molecule with numerous roles in energy metabolism which also serves as powerful antioxidant in both water- and fat-soluble conditions.
