Objective Nutrients Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from objectivenutrients.com (referred to as “the site” or “Objective Nutrients”). It also has information about how we store, transfer, and delete that information.

Information We Collect

Objective Nutrients doesn’t make money from ads, so we don’t collect data in order to advertise to you. Any tracking we do at Objective Nutrients is to allow the website and your shopping experience work as well as possible.

When you visit the Objective Nutrients, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the Order Information that we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services (depending on your account settings)

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site).

Information Disclosure

Objective Nutrients won’t transfer information about you to third parties for the purpose of providing or facilitating third-party advertising to you. Neither will we sell information about you to a third-party.

We may transfer your account information with third parties in some circumstances, including: (1) with your consent; (2) to a service provider or partner who meets our data protection standards; (3) when we have a good faith belief it is required by law, such as pursuant to a subpoena or other legal process; (4) when we have a good faith belief that doing so will help prevent imminent harm to someone.

If we are going to share your information in response to legal process, we’ll give you notice so you can challenge it (for example by seeking court intervention), unless we’re prohibited by law or believe doing so may endanger others or cause illegal conduct. We will however, object to legal requests for information about users of our site that we believe are improper.

Data Storage

When you place an order through the site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Objective Nutrients also uses third-party vendors and hosting partners, such as Webflow, 3dcart and Fulfillrite, for hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology we need to run the site. By using the site, you authorize Objective Nutrients to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States and any other country where we operate. Third-Party Embeds

Some of the content that you may see displayed on Objective Nutrients is not hosted by Objective Nutrients. The content, referred to as “embeds” are hosted by a third-parties and embedded on certain pages so that it appears to be part of that page. Examples may include but are not limited to: YouTube videos, SoundCloud audio files, Twitter tweets, or Scribd documents that appear on an Objective Nutrients page. These files send data to the hosted site just as if you were visiting that site directly.

Objective Nutrients does not control what data third parties collect in cases like this, or what they ultimately do with it. That being the case, third-party embeds on Objective Nutrients are not covered by this Privacy Policy. They are covered by the privacy policy of the third-party service.

Tracking & Cookies

We use browser cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you return to the site. We use them in various ways, for example to log you in and remember your preferences. Without cookies, our customer cart will not work, so they are necessary to Objective Nutrients’ basic functionality.

Some third-party services that we use, such as Google Analytics, may place their own cookies in your browser. This Privacy Policy covers use of cookies by Objective Nutrients only and not the use of cookies by third parties. For more details, see our cookie policy

Do not track

Please note that we do not alter the Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Modifying or Deleting Your Personal Information

If you have an Objective Nutrients account, you can access and modify your personal information by logging in. For account removal, please visit this page to delete all your account data.

Data Security

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee security. You use the site at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account.

Business Transfers

If we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization or sale of assets such that your information would be transferred or become subject to a different privacy policy, we’ll notify you in advance so you can opt out of any such new policy by asking us to delete your account before transfer.

Email from Objective Nutrients

Sometimes we’ll send you emails about your account, service changes or new policies. You can’t opt out of this type of “transactional” email (unless you delete your account). For non-administrative emails such as digests, newsletters, and activity notifications, you can “opt in” through your account’s settings page. By default, options are set to “opt out”.

When you interact with an email sent from Objective Nutrients (such as opening an email or clicking on a particular link in an email), we may receive information about that interaction.

We will never email you to ask for your password or other account information. If you receive such an email, please forward it to us at info@objectivenutrients.com so we can investigate.

Minors

The site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

Changes to this Policy

Objective Nutrients may periodically update privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Retention

Objective Nutrients retains personal data associated with your account for the lifetime of your account. If you would like to delete your personal information, you can do so at any via this page.

Rights of Data Subjects

  1. If you sign up for an Objective Nutrients account, you may at any time request an export of your personal information from this page.
  2. You may correct information associated with your account by logging in to your account.
  3. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account at any time via this page, which will delete your personal information completely* upon receiving your email confirmation.

    *Note that if you have unfulfilled orders (orders that have not been shipped or canceled), then the deletion request will not proceed until those orders are closed. Furthermore, it should be noted that the orders themselves will not be removed from the store. Instead, they will be kept in the store's database (along with their country of origin data)for record keeping and accounting purposes. However, all customer identifying information on the orders (email, billing address, shipping address, phone numbers, etc) will be removed (except to the extent Objective Nutrients is prevented by law from deleting your information).
  4. You may object at any time to the use of your personal data by contacting privacy@objectivenutrients.com. If your complaint relates to alleged misuse of your personal data by a third party, it may result in suspension of your account in keeping with relevant law, public interest, our contractual obligations, and the rights of expression and access to information of others.
  5. Under EU law you have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by Objective Nutrients with the dedicated Supervisory Authority of your EU member state.

Subject Access Requests

For security and account ownership verification reasons, we process account deletion requests from the account holder only. We are unable to process requests made by third-party services.
